4 Indian Under-19 Cricketers Who Failed To Shine In International Cricket

The Under 19 cricket is the soul structure of any cricket-playing nation today. Indian cricket has found many greats through the under 19 cricket circuit. This arena of cricket always acts like a catalyst for the international sphere of any cricketing nation. Indian stars like Rohit Sharma, Gautam Gambhir, Sachin Tendulkar, and Virat Kohli are the well-maneuvered products of the under-19 structure. The great Virat Kohli was the skipper of the Indian under 19 team in the U-19 WC of 2008 where he led the team India in a vectorizing rising manner.

Under 19 gambit is the biggest arena of Indian cricket to showcase the talent and display the abilities to perform ultimately at the International Circuit for the countryside. Beneath are a few names who have ruled in their U-19 days but failed to get it to the international sphere.

1. Unmukt Chand.

Unmukt Chand is the first on the list who failed to capitalize on his golden days of under 19 when he helped team India in lifting up another U-19 WC trophy in the year 2012. He has been given a chance to prove his mastery of the International Circuit in the IPL from a team of Delhi Daredevils. That is the biggest unfortunate for Chand in his whole cricketing career. Currently, he is playing for Silicon Valley strikers in the Minor league cricket of America.

2. Manvinder Bisla.

A former star from under 19 cricket and once a reliable top order better for Kolkata Knight Riders has also tumbled up to upgrade his skills for the national side of Indian cricket. Under the leadership of Gautam, Gambhir Bisla has given his enormous contribution in the crucial playoffs stage for Kolkata Knight Riders. But, unfortunately, he couldn’t sustain the momentum in his later career.

3. Vijay Zol.

Vijay Jhol is the first cricketer on the list from the state of Maharashtra, he was the skipper of the 2014 under-19 world cup. Vijay has made his debut in the Indian Premier League from the side of Royal Challengers Bangalore but after getting few chances he was unable to cope with any one of them. Though he has shown a few glimpses of his highly compact technique which could provide an enormous contribution, especially in the format of Test cricket for India.

 4. Ricky Bhui.

Ricky Bhui Is the same man who played under the leadership of Vijay Jhol in the U-19 WC of 2014. He is an all-rounder category of player who is a top-order Right-handed batsman and an occasional leg spinner. Bhui has stamped many centuries in the sphere of domestic cricket and county seasons. He also got a chance in the Indian Premier League in the year 2015 from the side of Sunrisers Hyderabad, but unfortunately, he couldn’t grab cent percent from any of them.
