Yuvraj Singh Will Most Likely Return To Competitive Cricket Later In This Year

Breaking the Indian fans into exhilaration reports state that Yuvraj Singh is all set to make a stunning comeback to competitive cricket. Going by the exact reports, Singh will most likely be making his return to cricket in Australia later in this year.

As per a report in PTI, the Mulgrave Cricket Club has claimed that it will be raring to onboard the likes of Yuvraj Singh and Chris Gayle for T20 matches. It is also in talks to land the likes of AB De Villiers and Brian Lara.

The club has already landed the impressive likes of Tillakaratne Dilshan and Upul Tharanga. Out of all the aforementioned names, Gayle is the only active international cricketer as he is involved in national duties against South Africa.

Milan Pullenayagam, the president of Mulgrave Cricket Club, cited, “We’ve secured Dilshan, we’ve secured Sanath, we’ve secured Tharanga. And now we are working on finalizing agreements with a few other potential players. We are in negotiations, and with Chris (Gayle) and Yuvraj, we are nearly 85 to 90 percent there. We need to finalize a few things but it looks really good.”

Yuvraj pulled the plug on his career in 2019 after which he has played quite a few tournaments. He has managed to ply his trade for Global T20 Canada and also the T10 league later down the line.

There were canards too which stated that Yuvraj wanted to be picked up for the Big Bash League. Unfortunately, he couldn’t land himself a contract given his declining fitness.

In 2021, Yuvraj played the Road-Safety series as a part of the Indian Legends under the leadership of Sachin Tendulkar and India emerged as the eventual champions.

Yuvraj has been an emphatic moniker in Indian cricket for ages now and was also one of the key players to India’s transition from the ages of renaissance to the golden age.
