“Why was Virat Kohli refusing to walk after getting dismissed?”, A Twitter user clarifies why Virat Kohli was refusing to walk when he got out in the second innnings of the 2nd Test match against Bangladesh

India are currently taking on Bangladesh in the second match of their ongoing test series that is being played in Bangladesh. After a disappointing performance in the shorter format series, India got a solid start in the test series as they won the first match in it. They now lead the series 1-0. The second and last match of the series is being played now at the Sher-e-Bangla stadium and as it now looks like, they will end up winning this match easily as well. India currently need 100 runs with 6 wickets in hand and only a miracle by Bangladesh’s bowlers can turn the tables now. Otherwise, the game is pretty much done and dusted.

One of the highlights of today was an altercation of Virat Kohli that took place after his dismissal. After Mehidy Hassan cleaned up Kohli today, it was visible that he was not leaving the pitch and was getting involved in a heated conversation. Many people thought that he was questioning his dismissal but it was later revealed that Taijul had said some words after his dismissal and it was him who Virat Kohli was addressing. We all know how aggressive he can get in instances like this and it was yet another example of the same.

“He wasn’t refusing to walk. He stopped because Taijul said some words to him. He knows how to give it back to the player if anyone misbehaves. He has that aggression that’s why he was the most successful test captain india ever had. Not like Babar who sucks up to the opposition,” a certain Indian fan said on twitter.

As it now stands, India have scored 45/4 in their second innings and are on the verge of winning this match. They have exactly two days and 6 wickets in hand so it should not be such a difficult job.
