The global T20 event has raised the bar of excitement to a different level. The T20 World Cup 2022 is approaching soon and all the teams have kick-started their preparations for the event. With all the hype around the event, many would be wondering where will the marquee tournament take place.
Where will the 2022 T20 World Cup happen?
The 2022 T20 World Cup is all set to kick start on the 16th of October with the qualifier stage. The Super 12 stage of the tournament will begin on the 22nd of October and the final of the event is slated to take place on the 13th of November.
The tournament will take in Australia across 7 ventures in Adelaide Oval, The Gabba, Kardinia Park, Bellerive Oval, Perth Stadium, Sydney Cricket Ground, and Melbourne Cricket Ground, at which the final will take place.
Out of 8 teams that will play the qualifier round, 4 will make it into the Super 12 stage of the tournament, where 6 teams will be divided into two groups each.

Apart from the main matches, all 16 teams will play warmup games as well to get used to the conditions. While the teams in the qualifier round will play games between October 10 and 13, teams that have already qualified for the Super 12 stage will play the warm-up games from October 17 to 19.
