“Where is the King ?” Fans unhappy as Virat Kohli misses out in the Team India’s video posted by ICC

India will begin their campaign against Pakistan on Sunday (23rd October).

Fans were unhappy with the International Cricket Council (ICC) as they posted a video of the Indian Cricket Team on their official Instagram account but it had Virat Kohli missing from it. They said that the Indian team holds no value without their former skipper as he’s a brand in itself.

The T20 World Cup 2022 is taking place in Australia. The qualifier round of the tournament is underway and just a few days are left for the Super 12 stage of the tournament. Talking about the Indian Cricket Team, they are having a quality time in Australia.

Their preparation is up to the mark as they have played two additional warmup games and are sweating out every day in the nets to keep themselves battle-ready for their opening game. They will kick start their campaign for the event with a high-octane clash against Pakistan on Sunday (23rd October).

They performed reasonably well in the warmup game against Australia as they nearly ticked all the boxes including the death bowling. They will next face New Zealand in another practice game and it is likely that they will head into the Super 12 stage with high confidence.

Indian team cricket team have done their photoshoot as well and during that session, ICC made a video of them. The clip featured the likes of India captain Rohit Sharma, vice-captain KL Rahul, new star Suryakumar Yadav, and premier leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal.

The Indian players were seen putting their hands towards their chests, pointing to the Indian logo on their jerseys. ICC posted the video on their official Instagram account with the caption: “Are you ready for India?”
