Rohit Sharma – ether most successful IPL skipper
There’s no doubt about the ability of Rohit Sharma as a player and skipper in the IPL. It’s fair to say the right-hander has put in all the hard yards to make team the most dominant in the league.
After initially playing for two years, he was handed the captaincy of the franchise in 2013 and he left a mark in the very first season as skipper after he led the team to title victory. Since then he hasn’t looked back and has made Mumbai Indians the most successful in the league.
He led Mumbai Indians to the title record five times, winning in 2015, 2017, 2019 and 2020. Apart from these, the batter has guided the team to the two champions league title as well. Not only with the captaincy but he has led from the front as well as he has scored truckloads of runs for the side and is among the leading run-scorer in the league.

Rohit will captain the team in this year’s IPL as well. After a dismal outing in the last season, where MI ended last on the points table, the opening batter would want to turn the tables around and guide his team to the 6th title.
