The comeback-making Pakistan spinner “Yasir Shah” has bowled a peach of a delivery to Lankan batsman Kusal Mendis during Sri Lanka and Pakistan test match going on at Galle Cricket Stadium, Sri Lanka. Yasir Shah has made his place in the test team of Pakistan after a long duration in between the pair of Mohammad Nawaz and Mohammad Waseem was making magic for the Pakistan side in the spin bowling unit.
But the veteran leg spinner Yasir Shah has been included in the squad and got a chance in the very fast test match against Sri Lanka where he delivers a breathtaking leg spin delivery which pitched up on the leg stump and hits the top off stump after getting spin, this has resulted in the dismissal of right-handed Sri Lankan batsman Kusal Mendis. Yasir has also bowled a similar kind of delivery on the soil of England where he took the wicket of Sir Alastair Cook on the England tour of 2018.
This delivery which he bowled to Alastair Cook has pitched on the rough patch lining in the 5th/6th stump and spun so much to hit the leg stump of Alastair Cook. Yasir Shah has appeared in 46 test matches for the Pakistan team and got 235 wickets in the games which is an incredible achievement for any leg spinner in a format like a test cricket.
In the current scenario, Sri Lanka has dominated the proceedings of the gully test match instead of a fantastic century coming from the bat of Pakistan Skipper Babar Azam which saved the side of Pakistan from conceding a big amount of lead to the informed Sri Lankan side. On the verge of Yasir Shah’s mesmerizing ball to Kusal Mendis, the whole Twitter got erupted by the variety of reactions with shower praises on the veteran leg spin bowler of Pakistan, some of them are given beneath.
