Twitter reacts as New Zealand recorded their lowest ever T20I score against Bangladesh

New Zealand's lowest score in T20I's

The hunt started with Australia and now New Zealand has been bundled out for a humiliating 60 by the hosts, Bangladesh, in the series opener. Bangladesh stung in no time as they managed to claim four wickets within just 9 runs, removing openers, Tom Blundell and Rachin Ravindra for cheap. Will Young and Colin de Grandhomme couldn’t ring big scores either, as Shakib Al Hasan and Nasum Ahmed managed to get the better of them.

Tom Latham and Henry Nicholls came together for a brief period to plug the initial leaks and did it successfully to a certain extent until Mohammad Saifuddin scalped them both, triggering an avalanche for the visitors. It was just a matter of time before Bangladesh cleaned up the tail and New Zealand was bundled out for a paltry 60.

Latham and Nicholls were the highest scorers with 18 next to their names, while the others couldn’t even reach double figures. Left-arm fast bowler, Mustafizur Rahman was the pick of the slew with three wickets while Nasum Ahmed, Mohammad Saifuddin and Shakib Al Hasan claimed a brace each.

Bangladesh is in their dream run!!!

Bangladesh recently whitewashed Australia in a stunning display where the mighty Aussies were bundled out for a humiliating 62 in the last T20I. Though both the teams have sent second-string squads and the reason for the same is unknown.

The Bangladesh squad has been absolutely destructive, and the way they have brought down the two dynasties on their knees is nothing short of marvellous.

New Zealand’s woeful batting display left the world reeling in astonishment. Twitter had mixed reactions as the Black Caps had a rare batting collapse in office.
