“The legacy continues!”, A Twitter user posts an incredible tweet about India-Bangladesh friendship after Virat Kohli presented his bat to Litton Das

A bat was presented to Litton Das by former Indian captain Virat Kohli on November 3 during India’s T20 World Cup Super 12 match against Bangladesh at the Adelaide Oval.

Litton hammered a half-century off of only 21 balls as the Tigers wanted to chase down 185, and they were beyond the DLS par score with seven overs done until the rain put a stop to the game.

Bangladesh’s run chase collapsed after Liton’s dismissal, with wickets falling at regular intervals. The spectacular shots attempted by Taskin Ahmed and Nurul Hasan Sohan were in vain. Ultimately, the Tigers lost the game by a score of five runs (DLS Method).

Indian cricket team squeaked past Bangladesh by five runs in a crucial Super 12 matchup in the ICC Twenty20 World Cup 2022. (DLS). As all was going on, Virat Kohli extended a kind hand to Bangladesh’s opening batsman, Litton Das.

Similarly, After Bangladesh beat India at the 2007 World Cup, Indian captain Rahul Dravid gifted bats to two young Bangladeshis, Tamim Iqbal and Mushfiqur Rahim.

Indian hopes of advancing to the tournament’s semifinals were bolstered by their much-needed victory over Bangladesh. Nonetheless, they need to win their last game against Zimbabwe to guarantee a spot in the semifinals.

On November 6, Rohit Sharma and company will take on their African counterparts at the historic Melbourne Cricket Ground. Group 2 of the Super 12 stage still has Team India and South Africa as the two most likely qualifiers.
