Rohit Sharma Compared Rishabh Pant With Badshah For This Hilarious Look

Rohit Sharma has recently doled out a picture of the current Indian wicket-keeper, Rishabh Pant on his social media account and has drawn a contrast with Badshah about his latest look.

Both Sharma and Pant will be a part of the imminent Indian team as they take on England for a five-match Test series. This will be India’s shot at redemption after a debacle in the World Test Championship finale that followed after a sudden batting collapse.

The first Test match of the series will be played in Nottingham and will be kicking off on August 4th. This Test series will also be marking the beginning of the World Test Championship in its second edition for India.

On Friday, Sharma took to Instagram and shared a picture of Rishabh Pant, mentioning, “We have our own Badshah here.”

Indian all-rounder, Kedar Jadhav reacted to the post by commenting, “Our very own Chacha Nehru”.

Jadhav’s reference to the comment was the presence of a rose on his T-shirt. Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru used to carry a rose in his pocket in case if someone is still wondering why suddenly this allusion.

A few days back, Team India was split into two factions where they participated in a fielding drill that happened in a training session in Durham. The team was split into two outfits, one spearheaded by Pant while the other one was led by Shardul Thakur.

Pujara explicated the rules, citing, “We have to catch the ball with either hand and throw with the opposite hand. If you get touched, you are out. You have to get seven passes and the ball has to stop in the middle between the cones there.”

Pant found himself at the receiving end of misfortune after testing positive for the menacing virus. However, he joined the squad after recovering from the virus and fulfilling the necessary regulations.

He also shared a video on Instagram of him working out in the gym as a part of the regulatory preparations in the run-up to the India England Test series.
