‘Will cherish them forever mate’-Sachin Tendulkar posts an emotional message for Shane Warne on his birthday

Shane Warne died unexpectedly in Thailand in March as he was celebrating his birthday with his pals. Sachin Tendulkar has expressed his deepest condolences to the Warne family via a touching birthday message. Tendulkar and Warne, two legends of the game, faced off against one another in a number of intense matches during their time playing for India and Australia, respectively, throughout their careers as cricket players.

When news spread on March 4 that Shane Warne had passed away in Thailand while he and his friends were celebrating, the whole cricketing community was left in a state of shock. Warne, who was 52 years old, passed away due to what is believed to have been a heart attack.

Warne had a phenomenal career, capturing 708 wickets in tests and 293 wickets in one-day internationals between the years 1992 and 2007. Sachin Tendulkar was maybe the only one of the numerous adversaries who looked forward to playing against him when they were engaged in a battle on the field. Off the field, though, it was well known that they were close friends with one another. In point of fact, they participated in a single All-Star game together, which took place in New York City in November 2015.
