‘Sky has no limits, What a player’ – Twitter reacts as Suryakumar Yadav retains his numero uno spot in T20 batsman ranking with 890 points

Indian cricketer Suryakumar Yadav is in the form of his life. He has been a terrific performer for India in the shortest format of the game, ever since he made his T20I debut for the national cricket team.

The flamboyant cricketer is one of the very few players in modern era to switch gears straightaway after coming out to bat. The way in which he has been expressing himself with the bat is eye-catching.

The right-handed batter showcased his true strength during the second T20I against New Zealand at Bay Oval. He struck an unbeaten 111 off 51 balls where he hammered as many as 11 fours and 7 sixes to his name.

He was named the man of the match for his surreal knock. Moreover, he was also named the man of the series for his century in the second game. He will be looking forward to expressing himself once again in the upcoming ODI series against the New Zealand cricket team, which starts on November 25 (Friday).

Meanwhile, the Mumbai-born cricketer made the headlines after he successfully retained his numero uno spot in ICC T20 batsman ranking with 890 points to his name.

The Indian cricketer had 895 points under his belt but his rating points was reduced to 890 in the wake of his poor score in the third and final T20I against the Black Caps. He scored 13 off 10 balls including a four and a six.

Suryakumar Yadav is named in the ODI squad for the three-match series. Shikhar Dhawan will lead the Indian national cricket team in the upcoming series and it will be quite interesting to see how Surya will approach the game.

He hasn’t really made an impact with the bat as far as the 50-over format is concerned. Having played 13 games for India in ODIs, he scored 340 runs at an average of 34 including two half-centuries to his name.
