Virat Kohli and Cristiano Ronaldo are in Manchester

Both Virat and Ronaldo are legends in their respective sports. In fact, a few people also call Virat the Ronaldo of football. The players are known for setting a benchmark in their sports due to their fitness regime and determination to do well.

After Team India reached Manchester, including by Lancashire and Royal Challengers Bangalore, there were several mentions about both the athletes being in the same city. A few are also expecting the duo to meet, although that is unlikely due to the COVID rules. In the pre-COVID era, this could have happened.

Shubman Gill reacts to the development

Young Indian cricketer Shubman Gill has reacted to the development that both Virat and Ronaldo are in the same city. He tweeted, ” Underrated opinion @Cristiano joined Manchester United to meet @imVkohli bhai #ifyouknowyouknow”

A couple of weeks ago, Cristiano Ronaldo left Juventus to rejoin Manchester United. The move happened quickly, and it was a surprise considering there was less buzz about it. It was in Manchester United that Ronaldo got famous. However, he left the club to join Real Madrid and a few seasons ago, he had joined Juventus. Although there were rumours he would join Manchester City, he made the move to his old club.

Shubman Gill sarcastically commented that Ronaldo joined Manchester knowing that Virat Kohli would turn up in the city. The schedule of the ongoing series was released long back, and Gill comically hinted Ronaldo returned to Manchester to meet Kohli. Meanwhile, there are COVID cases in the Indian camp. Hence, the final test is doubtful to happen. India currently leads the series 1-2.
