“100 In Pakistan”- Fan Poster In PSL Match Proves Why Fanbase Of Virat Kohli Is Unmatchable

Virat Kohli is the most-followed Asian on Instagram. He is among the most-followed sportspersons on the planet, and the most recent happening in a Pakistan Super League match proves why Virat Kohli has the biggest fanbase in the world.

Many members of the cricket universe would know that the 2022 edition of the Pakistan Super League is currently underway in Pakistan, where players from across the world are participating. The Indian players are not a part of the competition, but still, there are posters related to Indian cricket.

And, a fan poster of Virat Kohli highlighted how his fanbase in Pakistan is also waiting for his 71st international century. The fan wrote in his poster that he wants to see Kohli scoring a hundred on Pakistani soil. Here is the photo and the viral tweet:

Virat Kohli played a fine knock of 52 runs against the West Indies cricket team last night in the second T20I of the ongoing 3-match series between the Indian cricket team and the West Indies team. His fifty played a huge role in the Indian team’s win over the Men in Maroon. While fans are waiting to see Kohli’s ton, they should also note he is making match-winning contributions to the Indian team.

Will the fanbase of Virat Kohli ever see him playing in Pakistan?

There was a time when the Indian team would tour Pakistan for international cricket, but because of political tension, the two countries no longer play bilateral series. They only meet at international events.

The last time the Indian team toured Pakistan was back in 2008 for the Asia Cup tournament. Kohli was not a member of the squad then, and it will be interesting to see if he plays a match on Pakistani soil in his career. India and Pakistan will meet in ICC T20 World Cup in Australia later this year.
