Former Indian cricket team opener Aakash Chopra said on his YouTube channel that someone told him about the RCB team management saving INR 20 crore to sign Shreyas Iyer. The Kolkata Knight Riders ran away with Shreyas’ services for INR 12.25 crore.
While the Royal Challengers Bangalore could not sign Shreyas, they have roped in Faf du Plessis at the mega auction. For the first time in his IPL career, du Plessis will don the Royal Challengers Bangalore jersey.
