Kieron Pollard sets the stage on fire in ILT20
MI Emirates skipper Kieron Pollard has turned the tables on fire in the ongoing ILT20. He has turned back the clock and is smashing runs for fun. It’s fair to say that his performance and leadership has been the main reason why the team has qualified for the playoffs.
Pollard has been one of the most consistent players in the tournament and is leading from the front. He’s currently the second-highest run-getter in the league with 337 runs to his name from just 7 games. He has played a strike rate of 198.24 and has an average of 67.40.
Pollard’s last five scores in the league read 43(17), 19(7), 50*(19), 67*(39), and 86(38) and it’s fair to say that he has been at his vintage best. His main focus will now be to lead his team to the title win.
Pollard, who has been the main pillar of Mumbai Indians’ success in the Indian Premier League (IPL) would be hoping to continue the legacy of Mumbai Indians even in the overseas league and win the title.

This is why I said he should have played another season for MI.
MI still need him, he's still got it and still MI haven't found a finisher like him.
Transition is too early. Tim David is good and all but he's no Pollard.
Pls MI make him take his retirement back at next season.🙏🏻— Rohan Mali (@ro21_9) February 3, 2023
@mipaltan are gonna pay a huge price of it.
