“Pain, dukh, dard, aansu”, Twitter comes up with the most hilarious memes after Gujarat Titans beat Chennai Super Kings

Here are the most hilarious memes for GT vs CSK

The defending champions started their title defence in style as they pegged back an exhausted Chennai Super Kings with a clinical all-round display, chasing down a significant total on the cards, thanks to their deep batting order that showed exemplary command of the target as the Gujarat Titans registered their first points on the board.

Winning the toss, Gujarat opted to bowl first and their bowlers repaid the captain’s faith as Mohammed Shami raged through the defenses of Devon Conway while Rashid Khan came in to deal a double whammy that bagged the all-important scalps of Ben Stokes and Moeen Ali.

It was somewhat of a solitary display from Ruturaj Gaikwad who kept his calm and composure to help Chennai afloat as he didn’t receive any support from his fellow batters at the other end. There would be a few cameos but they weren’t momentous enough to usher the Yellow Army to a somewhat bigger total on a surface that had 200 written all over it.

Riding high on Gaikwad’s 92, Chennai Super Kings managed to pile up 178 that seemed somewhat in the mid-cards as the pitch really didn’t have many demons to scare the batters away and the reigning champions had a pretty decent batting line-up.

Wriddhimaan Saha and Shubman Gill got off to flying starts and out Gujarat well in course to chase down the total. Despite Saha’s early departure after a breezy knock, Sai Sudarshan who came in as an impact player for Kane Williamson was on his toes and kept the wheels rolling.

Twitter in mixed emotions as Gujarat Titans best Chennai Super Kings again

Except for Hardik Pandya, the remainder of the batting line-up for Gujarat got into double figures and got there in quick time that didn’t really allow Chennai to settle down. Shubman Gill was the highest scorer for the side with 63 from just 36 balls. With a flicker of hope lurking around the corner, as they welcomed Rashid Khan into the mix, the hard-hitting Afghan all-rounder compounded further misery upon the Super Kings with Rahul Tewatia dealing the telling blow. Here is what Twitter had to say about the win for Gujarat Titans.
