The epic cricket rivalry between Team India and Australia is known to the cricket fraternity. Both terms have top players in their arsenal to weave the magic during the passage of play.
These are the two teams that have been producing spark in clutch moments of the game in bilateral series. When both these teams meet each other, the entertainment quotient gets amplified to the core.
Just a decade ago, it was Australia who had the upper hand in the nerve-wracking battles. However, as the years progressed, Team India channelized their aggression in the right manner and had the edge over the Aussies.
India vs Australia Test series likely to start in the second week of February
As a result, the Men in Blue created waves and turned the tables while facing Australia in the bilateral series. Meanwhile, in the latest development, India vs Australia Test series is likely to start in the second week of February, as per a report by Sports Tak.
“A meeting was held yesterday (November 20, Sunday) and there are chances that the series may start by February 08 or February 10 so that there will be no issue with women’s IPL and the calendar will be clear.
As of now, Delhi and Ahmedabad are clear for hosting matches also Nagpur is almost clear. Only the fourth venue is yet to be decided, which will be finalised soon and an official announcement will be made,” the source added.
The four-match Test series will be significant as it will be the last four matches for Team India in the second edition of the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) cycle.
It is really going to be a tough task for Rohit Sharma and Co as they might have to inflict a 4-0 whitewash on Australia in order to qualify for the peak clash.
