“Lord Rinku Singh! Almost single-handedly saving the KKR careers of Sunil Narine and Andre Russell!”, Twitter stunned as Rinku Singh pulls off a crazy victory for KKR

Rinku Singh in absolute majesty at the Narendra Modi Stadium

Kolkata Knight Riders have pulled off a remarkable win out of literally no where as they scored down 31 runs in the final over to secure a crazy win, making it 2-1 in a row from practically a situation that had KKR written no where on the scene. After a rattling hattrick from Rashid Khan, as the Knights were completely down and out, Rinku Singh decided to go after whosoever was going to come in that final over and take him down.

In a match where Hardik Pandya was absent as the skipper, Rashid Khan took over the reins and delivered the rewards like none other. Shubman Gill and Sai Sudarshan got off to fliers in the first innings as the KKR bowlers struggled after an early breakthrough. Abhinav Manohar couldn’t really get off to the groove but it was a Vijay Shankar special that saw them pile up 204 on the scorecard.

KKR got off to a shaky start as they were all over the place losing Narayan Jagadeesan and Rahmanullah Gurbaz in no time. However, the pendulum switched with Venkatesh Iyer smashing an impeccable knock that saw him totting up 83 runs from 40 balls while Nitish Rana played a blinder of a knock with a 29-ball-45. However, once the two were back in the pavilion, it was a descent into madness for KKR.

Here is what Twitter had to say for Lord Rinku Singh and his magic that crushed the Titans

Andre Russell, Sunil Narine and Shardul Thakur were on their way back to the pavilion with no contribution to the team total. However, the magic was preserved for that final over where 29 runs were needed for the Knights to win. With the numbers even being stacked up against you with such odds in a video game, things changed in a flash as Lord Rinku Singh pulled off a magical win that would go down in history. Twitter went berserk for this gem of a knock from Rinku Singh.
