The Indian side is all set to play the World Test Championship final against New Zealand on 18th June 2021. The Men in Blue have already boarded the flight for the UK. England’s Southampton will witness this epic battle between the two top class sides. Virat Kohli and Kane Williamson will be trying their level best to play their cards right.
The Indian skipper and the head coach Ravi Shastri were present in the press conference yesterday. A virtual press conference was conducted right before they were ready to travel for the England.
However, one epic scenario happened during that conference. Before the start, Kohli and Shastri were discussing about the ongoing English vs New Zealand test match. They were not aware that they were live.
Both of them were discussing some of the tactics for the New Zealanders. Kohli stated that they might go them for round the wicket following the presence of many left-handed batsmen in their side. Ravi Shastri also went on to agree with the same as he signalled hmm.

Indian team has named 6 pacers in their squad for the final
India has named a very balanced squad for the mega event. The one thing which might be confusing for the decision making will be regarding the pace bowlers. It would be tough for team management to decide fast bowlers from bunch of Bumrah, Shami, Ishant, Umesh Yadav, Shardul Thakur and Mohammed Siraj.
It would be exciting to see whether India goes with 2 pacers or 3 as the English condition can favor a lot of swing. Both the teams will be sweating hard once they complete their quarantine period in England.
