Kevin Pietersen Pens A Special Note In Hindi For Indian Fans Before Leaving From Dubai For IPL 2022 Commentary

Former Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper Kevin Pietersen is in India to join the commentary panel for the 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League. Pietersen was named in the English commentary panel for this season, but he had not joined the team until yesterday.

Earlier today, Kevin Pietersen posted a picture of himself sitting in a plane, departing for India. After landing in India, he will undergo quarantine and then join the commentators’ bubble if he tests negative for COVID-19.

Informing his Indian fans about his arrival in India for IPL 2022, Kevin wrote a special tweet in Hindi, which roughly translates to:

“Very excited to be back in India to do commentary on IPL. Experiencing the best hospitality in the world is something I will never take lightly! See you in a few hours, India!”

In one of his previous tweets, Pietersen mentioned that he was in Dubai, and for the first time in 12 years, he did not touch a golf club, swim in a pool, go near the sea or eat in a restaurant while in Dubai. The travel time for a flight from Dubai to Maharashtra is approximately two hours, so Pietersen might have reached now.

Kevin Pietersen wants a change in the rules of cricket

Pietersen has been very active on Twitter, and yesterday during the match between the Sunrisers Hyderabad and the Punjab Kings, the former England cricket team captain suggested that if a batter smashed a six which travels a distance of 100 meteres, it should be considered a 12.

It will be interesting to see if the organizers think of implementing this rule in the future. Previously, even Aakash Chopra suggested that a six with a distance of more than 100m should be an 8, but Yuzvendra Chahal came up with a great reply and said three dot balls should be a wicket.
