India’s premier fast bowler – Jasprit Bumrah recently got married to a TV presenter Sanjana Ganesan in Goa. Bumrah had once asked former World Cup champion – Yuvraj Singh a bit of marriage advice and he gave a hilarious reply to that. Last year when the world had come to a standstill and everybody was in lockdown, many cricketers started doing Instagram Live with other cricketers. Yuvraj Singh had hosted one session with Jasprit Bumrah and Bumrah asked for marriage advice during the Instagram Live.
Bumrah asked, “So you were called Momma’s boy. Shaadi ke baad are you still a momma’s boy?” Yuvraj being Yuvraj said, “Once a Momma’s boy, always a momma’s boy.” He also said, “You have got peace in your life right now. That will change once you get married. Enjoy it now because once you get married, your life will be about finding balance at home. It helps if you have a good life partner.”
Jasprit Bumrah is now married and will soon find out if life will get tough after marriage. The Indian pacer got married on March 15 in Goa in a private ceremony where only a limited number of people were invited. None of the Indian team members were invited as all of them were busy in the series against England. Boom Boom left the team bio bubble before the fourth Test against England as he had to prepare for his wedding. He even missed the five-match T20I series and the three-match ODI series against the same opponents.
Yuvraj Singh who gave advice to Jasprit Bumrah was seen in the recently concluded Road Safety World Series where he was smashing all the bowlers left, right, and centre. Sanjana Ganesan who tied the knot with Jasprit Bumrah was seen in the Star Sports Studio for the ODI series while Jasprit Bumrah will now be back in action on 9th April in the IPL for the Mumbai Indians.
