As KKR was in their second game of the tournament, facing the might of RCB, one name would have been obviously doing huge rounds, particularly after the last time these two teams met in the Eden Gardens in 2019 and that was of Andre Russell. However, Karn Sharma who was brought in place of Wanindu Hasaranga made the surprise as he struck Andre Russell with a telling blow removing him for a golden duck.

The KKR fans were already frustrated at the fact that the big man from West Indies was somehow missing out on a lot of opportunities and eventually spilled their venom out. This is like a toppling batting order now that has no idea of how things have been heading downtown and with the absence of a handful of big names, Andre Russell is expected to deliver those handsome runs.

However, the big man walked out in the center and wanted to go big straightaway as he resorted to the aerial route without any any real power behind the shot. Then a decent partnership happened between Gurbaz and Rinku Singh but again RCB was quick to rattle through the defences of the Knights.
