The third T20I between India and South Africa will be played on Tuesday (4th October).

IND vs SA 2022: After a thumping defeat in the first T20I, South Africa displayed a sensational performance in the second game. Although they suffered a defeat it was a superlative effort from their end to reach close to the target of 237 runs. They would want to end the series on a high and take confidence into the T20 World Cup 2022.

The dead rubber third game between India and South Africa is scheduled to take place on Tuesday (4th October) at Holkar Stadium in Indore. Although they have lost the series, they would be proud of the performance they have put in the last game.

Coming to the playing 11, it is expected that they’ll back their team apart from a few changes in the side. Skipper Temba Bavuma is having a horrendous time in the series as he has bagged two ducks. But he’s expected to open the inning alongside Quinton de Kock and is likely to open in the second T20I. The Proteas preferred Rilee Rossouw at No.3 ahead of Reeza Hendricks in the first two games but Hendricks will likely get the nod ahead in the third game.

Aiden Markram will continue batting at No.4 whereas David Miller, who scored a hundred in the last game is set to bat at No.5. The finishing role in the team for the second T20I will be given to youngsters Tristan Stubbs, who has been exciting in recent times.

Wayne Parnell is expected to play ahead of Dwaine Pretorius in the third game also as he has been providing that left-arm angle. Kagiso Rabada and Anrich Nortje, who were expensive in the last game will also retain their spot in the XI with Keshav Maharaj was the pick of the bowlers in the last game. He will surely play and also Tabraiz Shamsi is expected to be back for the last game.
