India would have considered 160 to be a securable target. However, the men in blue lost wickets early and at one point, they were reduced to 31-4. It required a brilliant partnership between Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya to get India over the line. Virat scored 82 runs from 53 deliveries and was in top form. Although he started badly, he made up for it with some brilliant hits at the end. Overall, it was a fine game and there was a lot of social media interaction after the encounter. Hours before the game, ICC coined the prefix ‘Badshah’ for Babar Azam on their social media handles. ‘Badshah’ translates to ‘King’ and it is well known that the term is reserved for Virat Kohli. Hence, the Indian fans were not happy with the act by the council.

However, just a few hours later, ICC had to give in to the brilliant display by the former Indian skipper. They posted Virat Kohli sitting on a throne with the caption ‘The KING is back. This contrast was trolled by many on social media.
