“He Invited Us To His Room For Dinner”- Youngster Aryan Juyal Shares His Experience Of Spending Time With MI Captain Rohit Sharma

The 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League is underway right now, and like in the previous 14 seasons, fans have witnessed that the youngsters are getting more opportunities to showcase their talents in IPL 2022 as well. While some young players warmed the benches for the full season, they got a chance to spend time with the big names of the game. One of them was Aryan Juyal, who was with the Mumbai Indians in IPL 2022.

Five-time champions Mumbai Indians had their worst season of all time as they finished 10th with only eight points from 14 matches. They started their season with eight defeats on a trot, but they bounced back in the second half of the season and registered four wins in their last six matches.

Even though Mumbai Indians finished last, there were quite a few positives for the team this season. The biggest one was that the team’s young players had a memorable outing. The likes of Dewald Brevis, Tilak Verma, Hrithik Shokeen, and Kartikeya Kumar got a chance to showcase their talents.

It should not be a surprise if the Mumbai Indians retain a majority of their young players for the next season of the Indian Premier League.

When I met Rohit Bhaiya, he initiated the talks: Aryan Juyal

Speaking of youngsters, wicket-keeper Aryan Juyal was with the Mumbai Indians for the full season, but sadly, he did not get his maiden IPL cap. Nevertheless, he got the chance to spend time and interact with the Indian cricket team captain Rohit Sharma, who was the skipper of MI. Here’s what Juyal had to say about that experience:

“When I met Rohit Bhaiya, he initiated the talks, made us all feel at home – he invited youngsters to his room for dinner – he spoke for 3 hours about his experience, asked about the goals.”
