“Fantastic knock on a tough pitch”, Twitter comes up with mixed reactions as Hardik Pandya scores 66 runs from 50 balls against Lucknow Super Giants in IPL 2023

On Saturday, Hardik Pandya scored a stunning half-century to help the Gujarat Titans post a score of 135-6 in their IPL 2023 encounter against Lucknow Super Giants. Hardik Pandya hit 66 off 50 balls with the assistance of four sixes, while Wriddhiman Saha added 47 runs off 37 deliveries.

For LSG, the best bowlers were spinner Krunal Pandya (2/16) and seamer Marcus Stoinis (2/20). In a match against the Lucknow Super Giants, Hardik Pandya, captain of the Gujarat Titans, won the toss and elected to bat.

The Titans had trouble getting going and ended up with a small score on another humid afternoon pitch. Gill was out for a duck, but Saha had fun with a 37-ball 47 that gave the team momentum and let Hardik settle in.

The Titans were cruising at 71 for 1 at the midway point, anticipating a score of 150 or more, but they were pulled back in the second part of the innings. The Titans were effectively strangled by Krunal, Mishra, Naveen-ul-Haq, and Stoinis’s deployment of variation in pace. Hardik Pandya could manage one 19 runs over. LSG probably won’t be too concerned about a score of 136 on their home pitch, but the Titans do have some good bowlers.
