Chennai Super Kings got the better of Gujarat Titans by 15 runs in the first qualifier at Chepauk Stadium in Chennai and then made it to the 10th IPL final.
On the other side of the coin, Gujarat Titans got another opportunity as they beat Mumbai Indians in the second qualifier by 62 runs and made it to the second consecutive IPL Final.
Meanwhile, Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni won the toss and opted to bowl first. Gujarat Titans got off to a terrific start to the game as Wriddhiman Saha and Shubman Gill added 67 runs for the opening wicket.
Shubman Gill was stumped out by MS Dhoni off Ravindra Jadeja’s bowling for 39. On the contrary, Wriddhiman Saha scored 54 off 39 balls (5 fours and a six) before he was dismissed by Chahar.
