Although the likes of Ishan Kishan did not fire, the might bowling duo of Jasprit Bumrah and Trent Boult succeeded in defending 19 runs off the last 2 overs despite having the big man Andre Russell at the crease.
It was a game of the MI bowlers as all of them showcased their true talent, with Rahul Chahar emerging as the top performer from the bowling department. His magical spell of 4 wickets for 27 won him the Man of the Match award.
However, except few, Mumbai Indians’ batsmen are yet to display their natural talent as they haven’t been in full flow yet. Ishan Kishan is the one among them who hasn’t fired so far and would be hoping to do the same in the following fixtures.

The Indian batting star would be hoping to get some quick runs as the tournament progresses. Mumbai Indians will be playing their 3rd match of the tournament on 17th April 2021 against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
With Quinton De Kock back in the squad, the side would be focusing on their batting department for scoring high as on some days, even the best bowlers get hammered in IPL.
