Australia’s David Warner and India’s Yuzvendra Chahal are mostly known for their quarks on social media platforms. Both veterans keep entertaining the netizens with hilarious videos time and again. Chahal and Warner didn’t even mind shaking a leg to popular numbers.
Although Chahal isn’t a whole lot active in recent times, Warner’s videos keep surfacing from time to time. Parking aside their fun element, the two players are set to take part in the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 mega auction on February 12 and 13.
Both have set themselves a base price of INR 2 crores and are expected to earn the big bucks, keeping in mind their past records in the IPL. On Wednesday, February 2, Warner posted a picture on Instagram and asked his fans about the excitement of the IPL.
Warner posted on Instagram and wrote, “Who is excited?” Thereafter, the 31-year-old Chahal, in a funny manner, asked the southpaw about his plans to create reels.
Chahal replied to Warner and wrote, “Excited for IPL reels bro?” Warner added more humour to the conversation. He reverted to Chahal and wrote, “haha if we are in the same team, will be reels everyday.”

Warner and Chahal are among the 48 cricketers, who have registered for the mega auction at a base price of INR 2 crores. Warner started his IPL career for the Delhi Daredevils, now Capitals, and tasted a significant amount of success for them. However, a majority of his success came while playing for the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH).
Back in 2016, the Orange Army also won the IPL for the maiden time after defeating Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the final. Warner has also won the Orange Cap plenty of times. In 2021, Warner got himself tangled in controversy and lost the team’s captaincy to Kane Williamson. He also lost his place from the playing eleven.
Chahal, on the other hand, was a stalwart for the Challengers, having picked up more than 100 wickets for them. He plied his trade at RCB for as many as eight seasons before the franchise released him off his services. Chahal made his IPL debut for the Mumbai Indians (MI) back in the 2013 edition.
