The craze for the Indian Premier League is generally all around the globe. The entire cricketing fraternity has eyes over it as it is one of the mega cricketing events. However, this year has been a depressing one for the league as IPL 2021 was postponed mid-way.
The BCCI is now hoping to complete the remaining matches during the September window. The Board of Control for Cricket in India is trying its best to make the arrangements to send players home. It would be interesting to see how the league continues in the pandemic.
The craze for IPL is not only among the men’s cricketers. When it comes to the women’s cricketing department, it is also the same. Alexandra Hartley and Kate Cross are the two such names who are crazy for this mega cricketing event.
Alexandra Hartley has been the die-hard RCB fangirl whereas, Kate Cross is a fan of the CSK side. Recently, Chennai Super Kings sent a customized jersey with Number 16 of their franchise to Kate Cross. She took to her Instagram handle and posted the same about it.
Here’s what Alexandra Hartley commented on the post of Kate Cross
She captioned it as, “Sad to see IPL has been suspended. Sending all my love to everyone in India battling with the Covid crisis, an amazing country and even better people. Finally, a huge thank you to Chennai Super Kings for sending me my first CSK shirt. When it is safe to start the tournament again, I can whistle from home”.
Seeing this, Alexandra couldn’t resist commenting on it. She commented Hoping RCB are sending me one, along with adding some emojis. You can see it here:
Now with the focus being on International matches, it would be exciting to see whether IPL 2021 can resume during the September window or not.
