Not many bowlers have gone on to take a hat trick because it is almost impossible, especially in Test cricket because chances are high that the batters either tend to leave the deliveries or even defend it in the first place.

1. Frederick Robert Spofforth

Frederick Robert Spofforth was the first bowler to take a hat-trick in Test cricket. He achieved the feat against England in 1878-79.

2. Hugh Trumble

Hugh Trumble was the only Australian bowler who took 2 hat tricks. He achieved both feats against England in 1901-02 and 1903-04 respectively.

3. Jimmy Matthews

Jimmy Matthews is another Australian on the list who has taken a hat trick. He achieved the feat against South Africa in 1912.

4. Lindsay Kline

Lindsay Kline bagged the hat trick against South Africa in 1957-58 in Cape Town.

5. Merv Hughes

Merv Hughes achieved the feat of taking a hat trick against the West Indies cricket team in Perth in 1988-89.

6. Damien Fleming

Damien Fleming is another Australian on this list who bagged a hat trick. He achieved the feat against Pakistan in Rawalpindi in 1994-95.

7. Shane Warne
