They have won four IPL titles in their journey, which is one less than Mumbai Indians. Apart from that, they have won two Champions League T20 titles. Besides that, they are known for their reputation for qualifying for the playoffs, more often than not.

Tagged as the most consistent team in the Indian Premier League, CSK have a unique record of not losing to eight teams so far. In this article, let’s take a glimpse at the 8 teams against whom CSK have never lost any game.

1. Central Stags

New Zealand’s Central Stags participated in the 2010/11 CLT20. They locked horns with CSK in the third game of the tournament. Batting first, CSK posted 151/4 with the help of Subramaniam Badrinath’s fifty. In reply, Central Stags could only post 94 runs in the run-chase and went on to lose the game.

2. Wayamba

CSK has never lost to Wayamba in their history. Sri Lanka’s Wayamba took part in the CLT20. Batting first, CSK posted 200/3 and Wayamba went on to lose the game by 97 runs.

3. Warriors

Warriors faced CSK on two occasions (in the group stage and the final). However, they lost both encounters. Murali Vijay was adjudged the man of the match for his half-century.

4. Cape Cobras

In 2012 CLT20, Cape Cobras posted 145 runs. In reply, CSK were stuttering at 77/5 in 11.5 overs. Nonetheless, DJ Bravo guided CSK to a superb four-wicket win by scoring 46 runs.

5. Titans

In CLT20 2013, MS Dhoni’s CSK beat AB de Villiers’ Titans by 4 wickets. Batting first, the Titans posted 185/5 with the help of AB de Villiers’ 77 off 36. However, CSK aced the run-chase with the collective efforts of the players.

6. Brisbane Heat

In 2013, Brisbane Heat locked horns with CSK in CLT20. Ben Cutting powered Brisbane Heat to 137/7 with his 42-run knock. In reply, CSK chased down the target with the help of Mike Hussey’s fifty.

7. Dolphins

CSK posted a humongous total of 242/6 with the help of Suresh Raina’s 43-ball 90. The Dolphins were no match for CSK’s standards as they went on to lose the game by 54 runs.

8. Perth Scorchers

Batting first, CSK posted 155/6 in their quota of 20 overs. In reply, Perth Scorchers were reduced to 142/7 in the CLT20 and went on to lose the game by 13 runs. Ravi Ashwin was the pick of the bowlers as he took 3/20.
