“When Will He Learn, Typical Indian Parents” – Twitter reacts after Shubman Gill’s father said he wasn’t happy with his son’s century against Sri Lanka

Shubman Gill’s father by the name of Lakhwinder always expected his son would perform well whenever he goes out to bat. In fact, right from U-14 days, Lakhwinder would be frustrated when Gill fails to convert the starts into good scores.

The cricket fraternity was literally taken aback when Lakhwinder was unhappy after he scored 91 runs against Australia at The Gabba. When the fans from every nook and corner of the country praised Gill for his stupendous knock, Gill’s father was the only one who was upset.

He said Gill should have done better while playing against Nathan Lyon as Gill tried to play the shot away from his body and then paid the price. Meanwhile, during the third and final ODI against the Sri Lankan cricket team, Shubman Gill made his presence count on the pitch.
