1) Hrithik Shokeen
Mumbai Indians need to target their spin department, as well. They do not have a good right-arm off-spinner at the moment. Therefore, they could go back in for Hrithik Shokeen from Delhi.
Apart from bowling, Hrithik can also be decent with the bat. At No.7, he would be a good fit for the franchise. If he comes cheap, it would be best if MI buys him back again. With this move, they can focus more on the pace department.
2) Arshad Khan
Arshad Khan is one of the released players Mumbai Indians might target again in IPL 2024 Auctions. There were a lot of expectations from Arshad in IPL 2023. However, he failed to perform well. That said, potential was visible in the player.
It would be a loss if MI does not go for him again. He can turn out to be a top player in the future. MI still needs new-ball partners for Bumrah and Arshad can be groomed to become one.
3) Riley Meredith
With the funds remaining in the purse of Mumbai Indians, they may not get their priority targets in the pace department. Therefore, they might have to settle with a few overseas pacers who are yet to hit their peak. In this scenario, investing in their former player would be a better call.
Riley is someone who can startle the batters with his pace. He can be a real deal at the Wankhede if used well. Therefore, the Aussie is on this list.
