Royal Challengers Bangalore have been consistent in the last few seasons. However, the coveted title has still not come their way. For IPL 2023 Auctions, they released the least number of players. Hence, they only have a purse of INR 8.75 Cr. There are still a few issues to be addressed in the squad and at the same time, the franchise will have to keep an eye on the future. On that note, here, we take a look at three players RCB can target whose base price is 50L in IPL 2023 Auctions.
1) Dushmantha Chameera
Dushmantha Chameera is one of the players RCB can target whose base price is 50L in IPL 2023 Auctions. Although the Sri Lankan pacer has his injury issues, he would still be an effective addition to any squad. Josh Hazlewood could get inconsistent at times, as seen in the last season.
RCB does have a slot for an overseas pacer and hence, they could target someone like Chameera. The Sri Lanka speedster would offer raw pace to the bowling unit and might also come cheap. Therefore, RCB can target the player.
2) Jaydev Unadkat
Jaydev Unadkat played a few games for Mumbai Indians last season but could not leave an impact. Hence, the franchise had to release the veteran.
However, now, after making a return to the Indian Test Team, Unadkat’s confidence is at an all-time high. He is also doing well in the shorter formats. RCB anyways needs a left-arm domestic pace option. Jaydev Unadkat is an ideal candidate in this regard. Not all teams would be interested in the player and therefore, RCB can also get him at his base price.

3) Mandeep Singh
RCB has its top order occupied with the likes of Faf du Plessis, Virat Kohli, Rajat Patidar and Glenn Maxwell. The No.5 position is still open but RCB would need a left-hander here.
Nevertheless, RCB lacks experienced backups for the likes of Virat Kohli and Rajat Patidar. Mandeep Singh has done well before for RCB and can slot in at any position in the batting line-up. Therefore, the franchise can target the cricketer.
