Indian Jersey over the years in T20 World Cup
With the release of the new jersey, the Indian Cricket Team will be donning seventh different attire for the seventh edition of the T20 World Cup. They wore sky blue colour in the inaugural edition in 2007 and went on to win the tournament.
The colour of the jersey turned to darker blue in 2009, 2012 and 2014 with different patterns. But it didn’t bring them any luck as they suffered defeats in all those editions and it was a mere disappointment for them.
In T20 World Cup 2016, they brought back the sky colour with reddish-orange stripes on top. It was liked by many as it gave them nostalgic feelings. The Men in Blue did have a great tournament as they went on to reach the semi-final.

During the 2021 edition of the tournament, they again donned the dark blue colour, but it didn’t impress many fans and also wearing it India had a horrendous campaign as they were knocked out of the group stage.
Now with the 2022 edition of the tournament slated to take next month, India has unveiled a sky blue jersey, which is highly eye-catching, and it has gained huge praise. Now it remains to be seen if it will bring any luck to the team or not.
Best Indian Jersey over the years in T20 World Cup
Among all the seven jerseys India wore in the T20 World Cups, it’s fair to say that the attire that they wore in the inaugural edition of the tournament was the best. It was a traditional jersey with the tricolour pattern on the side of the t-shirt and “India” written in yellow.
