India makes one change to their playing XI for the Bangladesh clash

India is all set to lock horns against Bangladesh in their fourth game of the T20 World Cup 2022. A win is most likely to cement their place in the semi-final of the tournament and therefore it is likely that they will bring their A-game.

However, ahead of the match, many reports suggested that India is likely to bring Rishabh Pant back into the mix because of Dinesh Karthik’s injury. The keeper batter suffered a back injury in the game against South Africa while keeping and walking off the field.

It was expected that skipper Rohit Sharma at the toss will confirm that Pant is back in the XI. But this wasn’t the case as India made one change, which saw Axar Patel returning to the team in place of Deepak Hooda.

India lost the toss in Adelaide and has been asked to bat first. Skipper Rohit Sharma highlighted the importance of the game and said that it’s a crucial game for them. Speaking at the toss he said.

“We would have batted first. Runs on the board would matter. We would look to bat well. All games are important in this format. We didn’t play well in the last game. Hopefully, we can play some good cricket and get those two points. Good ground and a good atmosphere here. Good weather as well. We have one change. Axar is in for Hooda.”
