The one guy who stole the complete show during the Match No. 25 of IPL 2021 was Prithvi Shaw. Coming out to bat with Shikhar Dhawan against the KKR side, Prithvi went berserk as he smashed the bowlers, especially Shivam Mavi, all around the park. His strong innings comprised of 82 runs from 41 deliveries with 11 fours and three sixes shook the cricketing fraternity along with KKR bowlers.
After winning the toss, Rishabh Pant decided to bowl first, which proved to be a very efficient decision for the Delhi side. DC bowlers managed to restrict the KKR batsmen to only 154 runs on the board. The spinning duo of Akshar Patel and Lalit Yadav grabbed two wickets and kept the match in their control.
However, it was Prithvi Shaw who became the show stopper when the 2nd innings kick-started. Shaw had the intention to go right from the front itself. He managed to smash six boundaries in the first over he faced, which Shivam Mavi bowled. It turned out to be a bad day for young Mavi as he didn’t bowl in the later phase of the match.

With five wins in 7 games, Delhi Capitals is currently holding the 2nd position on the points table with 10 points by their name. Led by their new captain Rishabh Pant, the side is performing well and hoping to continue the same in the later part of IPL 2021. They hold the potential to lift their first IPL title this year following their all-around performances from all the players.
