Watch: Riyan Parag dancing his heart out after taking out Khaleel Ahmed and Sunrisers

Just when it felt that Rajasthan Royals was headed into the void of another defeat, a dogged resistance from two youngsters simply refused to bow down.

Rahul Tewatia, the man who took out Sheldon Cottrell in the second game of Royals, led the charge with the youngster, Riyan Parag playing a brilliant supportive partner.

Parag walked in the middle when Uthappa failed again and he took it upon himself to hang in the middle and belt out a gem of a knock that could seem them survive another scare.

He joined hands with Rahul Tewatia and started taking out the best of Hyderabad. It was an absolute delight to watch him squeezing Natarajan for a boundary, a bowler who has bowled more yorkers than anyone else in the tournament.

It was Khaleel in the final over who had to defend 8 runs in the final over. The first four balls looked great as he only conceded 6 off them. With 2 to win from 2 balls, Parag decided to cut his chains and chase glory. He successfully connected a yorker and launched it over the cover for the game.

It wasn’t just his innings that entertained the crowds, it was his dance post the innings too that rocked the audience.

Ideally, Parag performed a short and swift little Bihu dance to honour Assam, a state known for its rich culture. It was a homage to his roots, it was a homage to his origin.
