Shubman Gill who has chipped in with a few 90’s in his IPL career finally got a perfect opportunity to score his maiden IPL century. He achieved the feat against Sunrisers Hyderabad at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Shubmaan Gill has performed exceedingly well in the Ahmedabad wicket. His performances were there for everyone to see this IPL. He is currently the second-leading run-getter in IPL 2023.

His spectacular century helped Gujarat Titans post 188/9 in their quota of 20 overs. In response, Sunrisers Hyderabad ended up at 154/9 in 20 overs and lost the game by 34 runs.

Shubman Gill was adjudged the man of the match for his masterful batting and his knock powered Gujarat Titans to the IPL 2023 playoffs. After Shubman Gill scored a century, Virat Kohli took to his official Instagram handle and posted a story featuring Shubman Gill.
