India lost half the game when they lost the toss: Shoaib Akhtar

As mentioned ahead, the Indian cricket team lost to the Pakistan cricket team for the first time ever in ICC T20 World Cup history. This 10-wicket defeat has hurt many Indian fans. Former Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Akhtar analyzed the reasons behind Team India’s defeat on his official YouTube channel and said:

“India lost half the game when they lost the toss. The dew proved to be too much for the bowlers. With the dew, the ball can neither swing nor spin. Pakistan got that advantage because they won the toss. There was little chance for swing or spin the ball for India because the ball was getting wet. The Indian spinners didn’t have enough margin to spin.”

Both India and Pakistan will play their next match against New Zealand. India will battle New Zealand on October 31 in Dubai, while Pakistan and the Blackcaps will face off on October 26 in Sharjah.
