Two changes that KKR must make for their RCB game

KKR needs to make a couple of changes for the side

It was another heartbreak for KKR just at that juncture where they felt that things can actually take an upward spiral and may end up providing that all-important glimmer of hope that they were so desperately looking forward in the absence of their captain and most importantly their season opener.

After a sumptuous thrashing that was inflicted upon their bowlers, their batters were off to a rude awakening particularly after the top three was back to the hut in no time. Things went from bad to worse for KKR when the Rain Gods chose to intervene. More importantly, two of their strike players could not come up with something significant and what followed suit was all over the place. Here are the two possible replacements that KKR should make for the upcoming game against RCB at the Eden Gardens.

#1 Lockie Ferguson in place of Tim Southee

Albeit claiming a couple of wickets, Tim Southee was often taken to the cleaners and believe this or not but he somehow completely looked off his element in the last game. Even the first wicket that he claimed that was heading down the leg-side and on any given day it would have been actually shown the ropes. Lockie Ferguson is a pace express and instead of the seam that is very little on offer at the Eden Gardens, he relies on his pace and those toe-cracking yorkers. Hence, he must be a part of the playing line-up for the upcoming game.

#2 Narayan Jagadeesan in place of Mandeep Singh

It has been ages since the world has seen Mandeep Singh deliver in the boldest of liveries. Narayan Jagadeesan is a young talent and whenever given an opportunity for the Chennai Super Kings, he has actually delivered handsomely. He can strike the ball by a fair mile and can also steer around the innings without any ado whatsoever. Hence, his inclusion to the side can be an additional boon.
