KL Rahul is truly one of the best-attacking players in the world right now. The right-handed batsman is known for his ability to play a wide range of shots. In fact, he has got that temperament and determination to take the bowling attack to the cleaners.
There were several occasions when the bowlers literally found it really tough bowling to him. Time and time again, Rahul has decimated the opposition like a hot knife through butter, thanks to his attacking instincts.
He might not have brought the best out of himself in the Asia Cup but is certainly the player to watch out for in the upcoming edition of the Twenty20 World Cup, slated to be held in Australia (October 16 to November 13).
Rahul ran through a tough phase of his life after he underwent a surgery in Germany. It took him so much time to recover. As a result, he had to skip plenty of home and overseas assignments.
His comeback to the game wasn’t that easy as he clearly struggled to dictate terms. Despite his dull form, he said he is working on his strike-rate to do well in futuristic games. It will be quite interesting to see how he goes about his business in the upcoming T20Is and in the T20 World Cup 2022.
Shane Watson reveals the true quality of KL Rahul
Meanwhile, former Australian all-rounder Shane Watson revealed one of the best qualities of KL Rahul. The former Australian international reserved the highest respect for KL Rahul and added that the right-handed batsman is at his best especially when he is taking the game on by playing his shots.
“KL Rahul is at his best when he’s really taking the game on and playing his shots,” Shane Watson spoke highly of India’s star opening batsman Lokesh Rahul. Meanwhile, India will rely on him to fire against Australia in the first T20I in Mohali.
