“This Is A Personal Call Him By Him”- CSK Official Breaks Silence After Ravindra Jadeja Removes Posts Related To Franchise

Ravindra Jadeja has been in the news of late after he removed the posts related to Chennai Super KingsIPL 2021 and 2022 campaigns from his official Instagram account. The reason behind the removal of the posts is not known yet, but some fans have guessed that the all-rounder might be planning to leave the Chennai-based franchise ahead of the 2023 edition of the Indian Premier League.

Earlier this year, the Chennai Super Kings elected Ravindra Jadeja as their new captain. He was retained for a massive amount of INR 16 crore after IPL 2021 ended. Since Jadeja achieved so much success with the Chennai-based franchise, fans assumed that he will play for CSK until he retires.

However, looking at his recent social media activity, it does not look like Jadeja and CSK will remain associated for a long time. Jadeja had a disastrous season with CSK in IPL 2022. He not only failed to make an impact as a captain but struggled with batting, bowling and fielding as well.

When asked about IPL 2022 at a recent press conference after he scored his maiden overseas Test century against England, Jadeja had said:

“What happened, happened. IPL was not on my mind. Whenever you are playing for India, your entire focus needs to be on the Indian team. It was the same for me, there is no better satisfaction than performing well for the Indian cricket team.”

One cannot say whether Jadeja has deleted the posts or archived them from his feed. However, Chennai Super Kings have taken note of the fact that the posts are missing. Speaking with ANI, a CSK official was quoted as saying as follows:

“See, this is a personal call by him. We are not aware of such kinds of incidents from our side. All OK. Nothing is wrong.”
