Pakistan fans are celebrating the birthday of their star pacer Haris Rauf on Twitter today and that has led to some heated arguments between fans of India and Pakistan. In a certain tweet, a Pakistan fan made fun of Virat Kohli to prove Haris Rauf’s greatness and all hell broke loose on the social media platform after that.
The fan posted the screenshot of a particular delivery from the first group stage match of Asia Cup 2022 between India and Pakistan. In that delivery, Virat Kohli was batting on 59 runs and Haris Rauf totally fooled him with a brilliant yorker. Thus, the Pak fan used the caption “Their king kneels down when our boy vibes. Birthday, Harry.”
Obviously, the Indian fans would not take the insult lightly and they cited the example of the very recent match between the two rival nations in T20 World Cup 2022 where Virat Kohli hit a number of fabulous sixes against the same Haris Rauf. Heated debates like this are common on twitter between the fans of these two rival nations.
There is a really good chance for us to witness an India vs Pakistan final in the T20 World Cup 2022. India will take on England at Adelaide Oval on 10th November while Pakistan will square off against New Zealand at SCG on 9th November. If the arch-rivals win their respective semi-final matches, they will face each other in the Final and it will break all viewership records.
The last time these two teams faced each other in a final was back in the 2017 Champions Trophy. Pakistan ended up winning that match and ever since, they have had a better head-to-head record against the Blues.
The Paks will look to get their revenge for the Group Stage defeat against India if they do meet in the final.
