The first Test between Pakistan and New Zealand ended in a dramatic fashion. Pakistan took a risky declaration call and if not for the interruption by bad light, the Kiwis would have won the game. While that game gave a lot of drama, it was even better in the second Test.

Batting first, New Zealand made 449 runs in the first innings. In response, Pakistan scored 408 and hence, at that time itself, the stars were aligning for a close game. Nowadays, teams do not hesitate in making some risky calls and the Kiwis did that by declaring at 277 runs with five wickets left in hand. However, in the end, the game ended in a draw although 10 more minutes could have been enough to decide the winner.
