Sourav Ganguly announced his Shocking return to cricket

The BCCI President Sourav Ganguly has announced a surprising and equally shocking declaration regarding his return to on-field cricket for getting featured in a charity match that will be played in the Legends League tournament. The legends League tournament is happening next month where the greats from almost all cricket-playing Nations will take part to show their cricketing skills and at the same time to inspire the youth to get allured towards this magnificent sport. 

    Sourav Ganguly has played plenty of cricket in his International Cricket career, he made his debut in the year 1992 for the Indian team and finally retired 16 years after in 2008, later 3 years, then also he continued to play domestic cricket and tournaments like Indian Premier League. 

   A charity funding match is going to happen in the legends League tournament which will be for the fundraising purpose of women empowerment and also to celebrate the Azad ka Amrut Mahotsav where the nation has completed 75 years of its independence. Thus initially when asked to Sourav Ganguly about his mind in featuring in this tournament, he denied his firstly complete participation. But Sourav Ganguly clarified that he is not playing the whole tournament but will feature in a charity fundraising game which will happen in the midst of the league phase.

    So yesterday on 29 July the BCCI President and the former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly posted a picture in which he is taking a workout in the gym and wrote a little note in the caption which has given the news about his comeback on the field of cricket.

“Enjoying the training to get ready to play for a one-off charity fundraising game for Azadi ka Mahotsav. 75 years of Indian independence and also for women empowerment with the top legends of the legends league cricket @llct20 need to hit some cricket balls soon.”
