The standard for Women’s cricket has been raised a lot after the past few years. With various leagues being designed especially for female cricketers, the world is all set to unleash the new era of women’s cricket. Women’s Big Bash League is one of the prime tournament which has created a lot of attraction.
The 2 Indian Women’s cricketers Shafali Verma and Radha Yadav might be a part of this league soon. According to reports, the 17-year-old cricketer Shefali Verma has already signed the deal. She will be featuring for the Sydney Sixers in the upcoming edition of Big Bash League 2021.
And on the other hand, the 21-year-old Radha Yadav is also on the verge of playing the league. The reports reflect that she might feature for either of the Sydney-based clubs. And to make the situation even better, at least one more Indian player is likely to be the part according to ESPN Cricinfo.

“Yes, Shafali has signed the contract with Sydney Sixers, and given she is a minor, I have had to give my consent, too,” Verma’s father, Sanjeev, told ESPNcricinfo. “I would like to thank the BCCI and Haryana Cricket Association [HCA] for giving my daughter the permission and support to play in the WBBL.
Three other Indian Women’s cricketers have also been a part of this league in the past. The list includes Harmanpreet Kaur, Smriti Mandhana, and Veda Krishnamurthy. With the 2 more names being added, the rise of Indian cricketers will be witnessed by the whole world.
Apart from Big Bash League, Shafali Verma will also be playing the Hundred tournament. The tournament features a 100-ball cricket game with 8 men and women’s teams. She will be the 4th Indian player to make her appearance in this. It would be exciting to see how the Indian talent will feature abroad.
