“Sam Curran is not a good option. Stokes and Green participation is still in doubt”,Twitter reacts after Ravichandran Ashwin said LSG will go for Ben Stokes and CSK will go for Sam Curran

Lucknow Super Giants announced their arrival in the Indian Premier League in the last edition of the IPL. The newly-debutant franchise made its presence count in the last season by qualifying for the playoffs.

The Lucknow-based franchise finished third on the points table with nine wins and five defeats in 14 games. They finished third on the table but failed to beat Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Eliminator.

Lucknow Super Giants were knocked out of the competition in a disappointing manner. On the other side of the coin, Chennai Super Kings ended up in ninth place in IPL 2022 points table.

The four-time IPL champions won four games but lost the rest of the ten games. Meanwhile, Rajasthan Royals’ off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin opened up which players Lucknow Super Giants and Chennai Super Kings will target in the next auction.

LSG will go for Ben Stokes and CSK will go for Sam Curran: Ravichandran Ashwin

While giving his views on his YouTube channel, Ravichandran Ashwin said Lucknow Super Giants will go for Ben Stokes and Chennai Super Kings will go for Sam Curran in the upcoming IPL mini auction 2023.

The upcoming auction will take place in Kochi on December 23. Ben Stokes has time and again proved that he is an incredible utility player because he can offer the work in the form of three dimensions.

Ben Stokes can bat, bowl and field well as he ticks the boxes of all these departments. If Lucknow Super Giants splash the cash to secure Stokes, then they have a chance to make a serious bid for their maiden title.

On the other side of the coin, Sam Curran played for Chennai Super Kings for a few seasons. Curran was named the man of the tournament for bagging 13 wickets in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia. Ravi Ashwin added that CSK will go all-out for Sam Curran.
